Wine, as everybody knows, is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented grape juice.

Wine grapes will ferment naturally without extra sugar and other additives. Wine is produced commercially by fermenting crushed grapes with yeast. Wine Yeast converts the sugar into alcohol according to the different varieties of grape and strains of yeasts. Red Wine and white wine varieties like Champagne, Taittinger Brut, Pinot Red wine, White wine, Chardonnay and Chianti from Italy - and many others.

The first recorded instance of the making and drinking of wine is recorded in the Bible at Genesis 9v20 when Noah first planted a vineyard and made wine about 2350 BC. Any earlier date than this is only supposition. Wine in Noah's case, and on many occasions since then, caused long lasting problems.
